Target Olympic Podium Scheme (TOPS) is a flagship initiative by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports to prepare India's finest athletes for Olympic, Paralympic, and Asian Games podium finishes. Selected athletes receive an out-of-pocket allowance (OPA) of ₹50,000 per month, customized training programs under international coaches, top-tier foreign training exposure, advanced sports equipment, and comprehensive medical and sports science support.
