Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) is a Central Sector Scheme funded entirely by the Government of India to supplement the financial needs of landholding farmers. Under this program, financial benefit of ₹6,000 per year is provided to eligible farmer families in three equal installments of ₹2,000 every four months. The funds are transferred directly to the Aadhaar-linked bank accounts of farmers through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). Mandatory requirements for receiving continuous installment credits include completing e-KYC, linking bank accounts with Aadhaar, and verifying land records (land seeding) with state revenue departments.

•Small and marginal landholding farmer families possessing cultivable landholding in state land records
•Farmer family defined as husband, wife, and minor children
•Excludes institutional landholders, active/retired government employees, income tax payers, and high-income professionals

Step 2: Enter Aadhaar number, state, mobile number, and select urban or rural region.
Step 3: Fill in personal details, bank account credentials, and exact landholding survey/khasra numbers.
Step 4: Complete biometric or OTP-based e-KYC on the portal or via the PM-KISAN mobile app.
Step 5: Submit the application for land seeding confirmation by local agricultural officers and state authorities.
